Andy's Experience

Andy has been involved in the radio industry since the late 1980’s. His voice has been heard on radio and television commercials across the United kingdom and worldwide. He has worked for some of the most respected production houses in the industry, and his voice has been used on ads for high profile clients.

There’s more to Andy’s voiceover repertoire than commercials. Andy is an experienced and versatile voice artist, and can just as readily turn his talents to a telephone on hold announcement, a character in a computer game, or an authoritative video programme narration.

He has a wide range of characters, accents and styles. Just listen to the demos on this website for the proof!

As well as voiceover work, Andy is an accomplished radio presenter. His career started on the overnight show at Red Rose Rock FM in Preston, Lancashire in 1992. From there, he moved on to join the launch team of CFM in Carlisle, and later presented afternoon drive at Signal One in Stoke-on-Trent.

In 1999 the opportunity came along to present the breakfast show at a new station covering his home patch, and Andy joined 96.2 The Revolution. In 2003 Andy moved on again, and after a brief but enjoyable stop at Chester’s Dee 106.3, joined the Lincs FM Group as a freelance presenter at a number of their stations.

He has regular programmes at Ridings FM in Wakefield and Dearne FM in Barnsley, and has also been heard on Rutland Radio, Fosseway Radio and Lincs FM. Over the years Andy has been heard on numerous other stations, including Tower FM, Imagine FM , Stray FM and Magic AM.
